I actually got this lip scrub for my birthday back in February but had kind of neglected it until last week when my lips became reeeally dry, flaky and chapped. When they're in this state, a bit of vaseline just won't do, so this is when I pull this product out.
The Lush lip scrub is basically a pot packed with little grains - like the grains you find in an exfoliator - and you simply rub it into your lips to scrub all the dead skin off. It does feel weird putting something so harsh on your lips at first - but this is how it works wonders. I usually use it just before bed and simply rub some on my lips then put a bit of vaseline/lip balm on top.
It tastes sweet - almost like sugar - so if you use a bit too much, just lick it off! After using it, my lips feel instantly less chapped and, by morning, all flakiness/dryness has gone.
I absolutely love this product as I don't think there's anything else really like it on the market and, at £5.50, it's a complete bargain as you only need to use a tiny amount for it to work. It's definitely worth having as I'm sure everyone suffers from dry/chapped lips from time to time and this lip scrub is a savior for when that time comes.
I have Popcorn flavoured - (which tastes delicious!) - and they also come in a Bubblegum and Mint Julips flavour .
