Five Under £5

I've seen these types of posts kicking around a lot on the blogosphere and think they're a great idea as I love finding cheap beauty products that are genuinely worthwhile. Here are five of my favourite bargain beauty buys that will give you change from a fiver and are actually pretty good...

Seventeen Phwoarr Paint, £4.99
Okay, so maybe I slightly cheated with this one because technically this retails at £5.49, when full price, but at the moment it's on offer for £4.99 at Boots so, yeah, it qualifies. I think every beauty blogger out there has raved about this concealer at some point or other and I've officially jumped on the bandwagon. It's just a great, high coverage, creamy concealer that doesn't crease and seems to work just as well as more expensive high-end options. Plus it comes with a handy little mirror so you can keep it in your handbag for top ups.
Kiko Smart Lip Pencil, £2.50
So I'm kinda kicking myself that I didn't visit Kiko sooner considering they have a nice shiny store in Leeds that I've walked past on multiple occasions. Anyways, I had my first Kiko experience a couple of months ago and, overwhelmed with choice, decided to pick up this lip liner and a lipstick (more about that below). The lip liners are an absolute bargain at £2.50 each as they're super creamy and pigmented. Also, the shade of this - Rose Mauve - is very similar to MAC Whirl (or so my MUA friend tells me). The only little complaint I have is that it does need sharpening quite often. But for £2.50 a pop I think I can deal with that.

Ted Baker Mini Body Spray, £2.50
When I think of body spray, all I can think of is those strong Impulse sprays that year 9 me used to drown herself in after a PE lesson. Not very glamorous, soz. However, Ted Baker body sprays actually smell really nice. I got this one in a gift set and keep it in my hand bag for when I just want to spritz myself on the go. I think this particular scent has been discontinued now but I also love their new addition in mint which I also own but cannot, for the life in me, find anywhere. Good job they're only £2.50, huh?
Kiko Smart Lipstick, £3.90
My second Kiko buy was a lipstick - another bargain at just £3.90! Not gonna lie, it took me a LONG time to actually decide on a colour when I visited their store last month. After running out of space on my arm to swatch, I eventually picked up Candy Rose, which is a dark pink with a slight hint of purple - it goes perfectly with the lip liner I bought. Their lipsticks are really creamy, which I like, however they're not the most long lasting out there - but at less than a third of the price I wouldn't really expect them to be. With such a great shade range, though, I'd definitely recommend picking one or five up to add to your collection! Here's my face sporting the lipstick and liner duo...

The Body Shop Honeymania Hand Cream, £3.50
Hand cream is one of those products that I know I should use but I just really can't be arsed. However, I recently rediscovered this little Body Shop beauty and the smell alone is enough to make me now religiously use this every day. It's really thick too so you don't need to use a lot and it makes my hands feel super smooth and silky.

Have you used any of these products or, if not, have I tempted you?
