Sunday Summary / #1

I don't really have one of those recurring post themes going on over here, as of yet, so thought I'd start one - a Sunday summary. HOW ORIGINAL, IKR. It just means I can share some snaps from my week and have a bit of a chat. I'm nosy and really like reading these types of posts so (hopefully) you lot will too...

1. I bought this oversized white shirt from Topshop and I LOVE it. I'm trying to get cracking with a capsule wardrobe at the moment (read all about that here) and this is one of the latest additions to it. I feel like it will get a laaaat of wear throughout A/W, will this badboy.

2. The beginning of this week was mainly spent at my desk getting my blog on. I've upped my schedule a bit this week and I think I'm going to continue to post about 5 times a week from now on (if I can think of enough content that won't bore you to death, that is.)

3. Josh and I went to the Lakes on Wednesday and Thursday and had such a lovely time. We managed to get quite good weather, climbed a mountain, walked around a lake...

4. And stayed in one of these cute little wooden pods! I wrote a longer post all about our stay in the Lakes, if you wanna know a bit more, here.

5. I've been wanting to get a bit more organised with my blog, at the minute, so decided to create a blogging planner. I've seen a few crop up on Etsy during my far too regular browsing sessions but I just felt like creating my own. I just used PicMonkey for this and will print one out each week to fill with ideas and inspo (or doodle flowers and hearts on...)

6. Friday was one of those glorious days where I realised I had a free meal AND a free side to claim from Nandos, thanks to my trusty loyalty card. Fellow Nandos lovers will appreciate the joy this brings, I'm sure. So Josh and I took a trip to Ikea and then stuffed our faces with chicken, chips and hummus. (Brb, just drooling.)

7. It was one of my besties birthday's this week so Abby, Rachel and I decided to go on a bit of a road trip on Saturday to celebrate. First stop was Starbucks, unsurprisingly.

8. We ended up in Chester! And picked the same day as the bloody Chester races so encountered a bit more traffic than we may have liked but it was still a really nice day. Chester is a pretty cool city with a cute river that you can have a nice leisurely stroll along, a cathedral to wander around and lots of cobbled streets that make high street shopping a bit more enjoyable. I found these beach huts down by the river and felt obliged to take a snap because, look, how pretty!

What have you been up to this week?
