10 Things I Learned In 2015

First off, happy new year everyone! Can you believe we're three days into 2016 already!? Today, I just thought I'd be a little reflective and do a round up of some of the things I learned in 2015. Last year was a weird year for me but I definitely think it was a year where I really changed as a person and learned a lot so, erm, here goes...

1. Sometimes you have to take a step backwards in order to move forwards. Even if it means taking a massive step backwards, the benefits in the future will (hopefully!) be worth it.

2. Sounds cheesy, but you really are (mostly) in control of your own happiness. If something doesn't make you happy, don't do it! It sounds simple but getting to grips with this mentality is often a lot harder than it sounds.

3. It's better to start over from scratch than to stick with something that doesn't fulfill you.

4. It's okay to fangirl even at the age of 22. I'm definitely obsessed with the whole cast of PLL and not afraid to admit it.

5. I spend basically all my money on food.

6. It's cool to enjoy staying in, watching netflix in your pyjamas, waaay more than a night out.

7. What you eat really does affect your skin and the way you feel. I ended 2015 a spotty, bloated mess - here's to sorting this out (at some point this year)!

8. Exercise may be a massive struggle but you will always feel better after doing it.

9. It doesn't matter if your 'life plan' has changed drastically from what you envisioned when you were a teenager.

10. A day without social media is pretty much always a good day.

What did you learn in 2015?
