Jewellery With A Personal Touch | Gemporia Engraved Collection

I'm not someone who wears a lot of jewellery so I like the pieces that I do wear to be special. I featured some earrings from Gemporia on my blog last year (have a peek here) which I loved so when they got in touch to tell me about their new engraved collection, I knew I'd be interested.

Gemporia's latest collection: 'Personalised Gemstones by Gemporia', created with precious metals and a mix of gemstones, features bracelets, necklaces and rings - all of which can be engraved with a word, phrase or even a hand drawn image - if I was a good drawer, I definitely would have gone for this option!

Now, I've always liked the idea of personalised jewellery but sometimes think it can look a bit tacky, if I'm honest. I always envision those fake gold Argos numbers that said "Mum" or "Sister" - if you know, you know ;)

But this collection is different. It's not ridiculously expensive but it looks good. I went for a bracelet as I don't actually have a bracelet that I can wear on a day to day basis. I used to love my Pandora but just feel like the charms get in the way! I also hate the clasp on my Pandora and always have to get my boyfriend to fasten it for me on a morning (something he really loves doing - naaat).

I went for the Amethyst Sliding bracelet*  as the sleek silver design just looked really simplistic but elegant - plus Amethyst is my birthstone! I also like the fact the adjustable slider makes it super easy to get on and off and you can have it as tight as you want it.

I could have gone for a deep, meaningful message when deciding what to have engraved on it but, instead, just opted for my name. Original, I know! But, hey, it is meant to be a personalised piece of jewellery, after all.

I'm really pleased with my bracelet and have had loads of compliments on it - I was gifted this piece but definitely think £59.99 is a reasonable price for something so pretty and personalised. Anything from this collection would make a gorgeous, thoughtful gift for someone special.

What do you think about my bracelet?
