Boots Haul - The Time I Got All This For Less Than £30!

I never post hauls because it's rare I buy loads of things at once, to be honest. But when I popped into Boots, last week, I could hardly resist when I found a shit ton of brushes/eyelashes/nails etc on offer -not just your usual 3 for 2 either - like literally less than £3 each!

Believe it or not, I'd only even gone into Boots for *ahem* feminine supplies so, for once Mother Nature, I'm glad you paid a visit! I was also on the lookout for a brow brush and could hardly believe my luck when I noticed the Real Techniques lash brow groomer for £2. I then noticed loads of other bits had been reduced too so raced to get a basket so I could fill it right up!

I don't know why all this stuff was reduced, either, because my friend and I went a bit cray cray with the old bargains and ended up paying a few other Boots a visit to see if we could find more. But, for some reason, it was just this particular branch that had them so cheap and they were actually still full price everywhere else! So I guess I just got lucky, huh?

I ended up spending just under £30 and here's what I managed to snap up on my lil shopping spree...

So, obviously I picked up the Real Techniques Lash-Brow Groomer because I'd intended on buying a brow brush in the first place. I've started trying to 'up my brow game' lately so decided I needed some form of brush to actually keep them in place and help blend them in a bit better instead of just filling them in. I also picked up the Real Techniques Retractable Kabuki Brush - I'll probably end up using this brush for bronzer mainly - I like how big it is and imagine it'll pick up quite a decent amount of product!

I'd yet to try anything from the Real Techniques Bold Metals range (mainly because it's so damn pricey!) so I was well impressed when I noticed the Triangle Concealer and Angled Liner brush had been reduced. These were both less than £3 each - I literally couldn't believe it. I mean, I don't need them - but who can say no to brushes as pretty as these, right?

As well as the Real Techniques brushes, I also grabbed a Botanics Angled Blusher Brush and the EcoTools Skin Perfecting Brush. I've been using my Expert Face Brush for applying my Bourjois CC Cream, recently, but reckon this EcoTools one might blend it in a bit better since it's recommended for BB/CC creams. I've never tried any Botanics brushes out before but it's always good to have a back up blush brush in since I use them daily and they get dirty so easily!

Speaking of brushes getting dirty, it only seemed right to buy some cleanser for them too - I found these EcoTools Brush Cleansing Cloths for about £1.50 which I thought seemed interesting. I doubt they'll work as well as good old soap and water BUT they're ideal for travelling if you want to keep your brushes clean whilst on holiday but cba to actually wash them and wait for them to dry!

I never really wear fake eyelashes or nails but couldn't pass up on the opportunity to pick up some cheap ones! I'm going to a wedding next month so a pair of eyelashes will definitely come in handy for then - I went for the Fleur de Force Simply Fleur Eyelure lashes mainly because they seemed like the most natural ones.

I also thought I'd try out these Elegant Touch Express 3 Minute Manicure Nails in a bright coral holiday which I thought would be perfect for my hols! I like the fact that they're stick on as I imagine applying nails with glue is a bit of a faff and I'd probably get bored and not let them dry. I don't know how long these will last but I'm going to pop them on Monday night ready for my week in Greece - I won't be doing anything too strenuous there so hopefully they'll last for the week.

Finally, I picked up two make up bags. The Monochrome Patterned Purse by Catherine Colebrook will be ideal for keeping all my mini toiletries together in my suitcase, when I go on holiday - especially because it's waterproof. And the "This bag contains my life" bag by Lola & Gilbert was just too cute to turn down!

Have you found any bargains lately? Seen anything you'd like to try in this post? Let me know :)
