Stocking Filler Ideas: Beauty Bits £8 & Under!

I'm a firm believer that stocking fillers should be inexpensive - as all they are is a 'filler' present, after all! However, I've seen loads of beauty 'stocking filler' gift guides kicking around that are quite the opposite - a £20 mascara may fit nicely in a stocking but, for me, that ain't a filler! So I wanted to put together some bits and bobs for the beauty lover in your life that won't break the bank...

1) Ciate Paint Pots, £1.99, Fragrance Direct.
Fragrance Direct is a website I've only just recently discovered and I seriously wish I'd found it sooner - they have so many branded things on there selling for waaay less than what you'd pay in a lot of high street stores! I'm guessing it's cos a lot of the stuff is probably discontinued items or it's in old packaging but, who cares? If I can get a Ciate nail varnish for under £2 - I'm a happy bunny! I really like this nail brand and there's quite a few different shades available, too.

2) St Tropez Instant Tan Cracker, £5, Boots
I rarely fake tan but I always like to have some at hand so if I found one of these in my stocking, I'd be a happy gal. You can't really go wrong with St Tropez - it's a fail safe tanning brand and instant tan is something most girls are going to reach for at some point!

3) Barry M Cosmetic Bag, £4.65, Superdrug
You can never have too many make up bags really, can you? It's always good to have one for your dressing table, one for travelling, one to keep in your bag... I love these offerings from Barry M that are on offer at Superdrug at the mo. There's a few others with different slogans available, too!

4) Essie Mini Winter Collection, £3.99, Ebay
Like Ciate, Essie is one of those nail brands that you can't go wrong with. But you'd be looking at about £12 for a trio pack this size, from Boots. Ebay have these kits for £3.99 at the moment! I'm guessing it's cos they're probably last years winter range but, irregardless, the shades are super cute and the Wintery theme makes them a perfect stocking filler.

5) Alphabet Make Up Bag, £8, Next
I featured this on my monogram gift guide - you can't go wrong with gifts with people's initials on, these days! I love these personalised make up bags from Next and they'd make the perfect present for any beauty lover.

6) Montagne Jeunesse Chocolate Face Mask Pack, £5, Feel Unique
I always like to have a face mask at hand for whenever I fancy an impromptu pamper night so this pack from Feel Unique would be ideal for stashing away in case of an emergency - plus they smell of chocolate, enough said really.

7) Clarins Joli Rouge Lipstick, £5.99, Fragrance Direct
Another Fragrance Direct bargain buy! Yep, you heard right. A high end lipstick for under £6! There's only a few shades available but I literally love the look of the Royal Plum shade - I'm considering putting one in my own stocking, at that price!

8) Studio London Trio Eye Brush Set, £3, Superdrug
I must admit, I tend to prefer spending a bit more money on make up brushes as I'd rather them be decent quality. Having said that, I also hate taking expensive make up brushes away with me so I'd rather have some cheaper ones I can pop in my make up bag for a night or two away. I think this trio, from Superdrug, looks a lot pricier than it's £3 price tag and would be a welcome addition to my ever-growing brush collection!

Have you found any bargain beauty stocking fillers, lately?
