The 'Getting Prepared for A/W' Beauty Wishlist

Now that we're saying goodbye to summer and getting ready for Autumn, I feel like my make up and skincare collection is due a major switch up. I tend to take a 'less is more' approach when the weather is warmer but, as the colder weather sets in, I'm all about thick moisturisers, face masks, dark nails and the ever sought after berry lip. Here's some bits and pieces I'm adding to my Autumn/Winter beauty wishlist...

1) Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant
Dry, flaky skin is the bain of my life, come Autumn/Winter. I often skip exfoliation in the summer months (even though I know I shouldn't) but, as the weather starts to get colder, I always feel like I need to make a conscious effort to remember to add it into my routine. This Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant intrigues me as it's actually a powder that you tip into wet hands to turn into a paste - which you then work into your face to get rid of any nasty debris and dead skin. So, due to it being in powder form, it lasts ages as you only need a small dose of powder to create a decent amount of 'paste'. I know Ruth from A Model Recommends used to swear by this so if it's good enough for her, then it's good enough for me.
2) Clarins Pretty Day Eyeshadow Palette
If any brand does new season releases well, then it's Clarins. Their seasonal collections are always spot on but, unfortunately, often sell out really quickly, boo. I'm definitely lusting after their new 5 shadow eye palette as all the shades are so wearable, for both day and night. Plus it's just so dinky and cute (although the price tag isn't so dinky, shame).

3) Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask
I've recently started using Antipodes skincare and I've loved pretty much everything I've tried, so far and next on my 'must get' list is this face mask. I've seen the Aura Manuka Honey Mask praised countless times on various blogs and, I'm not surprised, as it sounds seriously dreamy. I love hydrating face masks in winter months and this one sounds perfect.

4) Nars Satin Matte Lip Pencil in Palais Royal
I've been wanting a Nars Lip Pencil for god knows how long now and if I finally take the plunge and purchase one, this Autumn, then it'll be Palais Royal I'll be going for because it's a such a gorgeous rich berry colour.

5) Nars Sheer Glow Foundation
I've had my eye on this foundation for basically forever and finally decided to get it last Winter but struggled to find my shade (Gobi) anywhere. Because of this, I ended up buying Luminous Weightless, which was the new Nars base at the time, instead which I didn't really rate that much (read my full review here). So, this year, I'm determined to get my hands on Sheer Glow as I've been using CC cream, throughout summer, and now want something a lil thicker - but that still has a glow to it.

6) Essie Sole Mate Nail Polish
I love dark nails in Autumn/Winter but find black a tad too harsh. Dark reds/browns are much more up my street so Essie Sole Mate - a glossy deep plum polish - definitely fits the bill.

7) Laura Mercier Hydrating Primer
Seriously, anything with the word 'hydrating' in always grabs my attention as we head into Autumn. Mainly because my skin just seems to get ridiculously dehydrated in parts and there's nothing worse than when your foundation just clings onto those dry patches. I use Benefit's Porefessional at the moment but I think that works better when my skin is oiler so this hydrating number would be much more suitable for the colder months. Plus, everyone seems to rave off it so it must be good, right?
