I've been wanting new cushions for ages as my old ones were starting to look a little worse for wear. I'm not one for bright colours as the main colours in my living room are white, grey and black but I still wanted some that looked fresh and chic, not dull and dreary. H&M home is always one of the first places I turn to when I'm looking for new homeware accessories so I headed straight to their cushion section and found it seriously hard to choose as they have so many options.
I love the fact H&M sell cushion covers as it means they're a little cheaper and, if there's nothing wrong with your actual cushions, I don't see the point in buying new ones if all you want is a different cover design. I opted for two of these monochrome patterned cushion covers and then picked this white and grey design for the central piece. I ended up getting these silver cushions from Next, too, as I wanted something plain to contrast with the patterns of the H&M ones.

I've posted before about my love for Etsy prints and it certainly isn't fading. I love having frames dotted around the flat with quotes or pictures in and I decided, this time, I wanted to go for movie quotes. So, I picked this Dumbledore quote (which is one of my all time fave quotes) and one from Lord of the Rings as my boyfriend is a big fan. I printed them out through Snapfish and then popped them both in plain black frames from Asda. I'm yet to decide where to put them though as they're currently on my window sill but I'm thinking about building up a bigger collection and having a sort of gallery-style wall.
