Fathers Day Gift Ideas With Homesense

My Dad is hands down one of the hardest people to buy for. I don't know what it is about buying for men, because my boyfriend is the same, but I often feel like if they want something they will just buy it. So when it comes to trying to find something that they actually want and don't already have - it can be tricky!

For Fathers Day, my sisters and I will most likely be taking my Dad out for a meal as it's always nice to have a catch up over some good food, right?! But I also wanted to get him some little bits, too, so when Homesense asked if I'd like to get some things from their selection, I was obviously more than willing.

As you know if you read my blog often, Homesense is one of my fave places to shop. It just has so much variety and I always see something I want pretty much every time I go in. That being said, it's much easier to buy for myself than my Dad...

Luckily, my local Homesense actually had a few different stands dedicated to Fathers Day gift ideas, which made life a lot easier, and I ended up finding the photo frame and the pint glass on there. My Dad loves a good pint so I knew I had to pick him up this 'Gold Brew' tankard for when he wants a drink, at home. This was only £1.99 too which I thought was a right bargain for how big it is!

I always think a photo frame, with some photos in it, is a safe bet when it comes to gift giving and it also makes the present just that little bit more sentimental. Photo frames (often) tend to be quite girly so I was really pleased when I spotted this wooden box frame with cute little pegs to clip photos in. I actually ended up getting two of these as I wanted one for myself (and it was less than a fiver)! I've popped in some polaroids I had printed from Cheerz as I think that looks even better than just a standard photo and it meant I could fit two pictures, rather than just one.

My Dad likes pottering about the kitchen but, surprisingly, he doesn't own a chopping board! He just chops veg on a glass surface which makes me cringe every time I witness it! So, I opted for this marble/wooden chopping board as it just looks a little more luxurious than a plain old wooden board and definitely looks a lot more expensive than it's £7.99 price tag.

Finally, a foodie gift (obviously)! My Dad's not really into chocolate so I tend to look for some kind of biscuit selection and this Mr Stanleys Classic British Biscuit Selection caught my eye as I thought the packaging was spot on. Plus, coconut and toffee chip biscuits sounds divine. I'll definitely be popping round for a cuppa and a few of these...

What will you guys be treating your Dad's to this Fathers Day?
