Wishlist: Summer Beauty Essentials

Gosh, I feel like payday has taken FOREVER to arrive this month (I probably say this every month but, still.) I go through phases of lusting over either clothes/homeware/beauty and this month I NEED new beauty bits. It seems as though this humid weather is here to stay, so I'm in urgent need of a few new essentials to add to my collection and help keep me cool, here's what I've got my eye on...

I don't know about anyone else but I've been a bit of a sweaty betty these past few weeks and wearing a heavy foundation probably hasn't helped! I ran out of my Bourjois CC cream so have been using an old Lancome one which is lovely but just too thick for the current climate. I've got my eye on the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue which everyone banged on about last summer - it just seems ideal for when you want something on your skin to help cover blemishes and what not - but not enough to feel that it's there.

I also like the look of the Liz Earle Bronzing Fluid (although I might need to find a few more reviews of it yet as it's pretty new!) I used to swear by the Clarins Instant Smoothing Self Tan to pop on before foundation to add a bit of a glow but I feel like it's a bit too heavy on my skin, at the mo. This Liz Earle one seems a bit lighter and like it's less likely to sweat straight off my face...

I haven't bought a new perfume in forever and I feel like treating myself to a fresh, summery scent this month! I usually opt for something from the Marc Jacobs Daisy range but I really like the sound of the L'occitane eau de cologne range - the Victoria-Regia Day Flower Eau De Cologne sounds fresh, fruity and really refreshing and, come on, how pretty is the bottle!?

I haven't done a face mask in ages as I tend to associate them with winter - when your skin's feeling dry and dull. But, although my skin is much more manageable in summer, it's definitely looking a bit lack lustre at the moment which is why I'm eyeing up the Origins GinZing Peel-Off Mask. It's meant to be good for getting rid of dead skin, tightening pores and just helping to get that glow back. Plus, I'm obsessed with the orangey smell of the GinZing range!

Lipstick tends to be a no-go for me, in Summer, but I'm loving the look of the new Clinique Pop Liquid Matte Lip Colour. If they're anything like the Clinique pop lipsticks, they'll be super moisturising and the colour range is gorgeous!

What summery beauty products have you got your eye on?
